Shooting the Dice
>The player that tosses the dice is called
the shooter. Every player can serve as a shooter and they can alternate anticlockwise. In a new round of craps the shooter chooses two dice to roll and the shooter makes a bet on the pass line or don't pass line. Other players then make their bets and the shooter begins to roll the dice from one end of the table.
The Rolling Outcome
A rolling out come of seven or eleven means the pass line bet wins and don't pass bet looses and the round ends. For an outcome of 2, 3, or 12, the pass line bet looses and don't pass line bet wins or ties as 12 results in a tie. Other rolling out comes 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 are counted as the player's points. The player puts a puck on the table and continues shooting until either a 7 is attained. If the point number is rolled before seven, the pass line bet wins and the don't pass line bet looses. And vice versa.
There are various types of bets, and they give a player different craps odds when gamble them.
Pass Line bets and Don't Pass Line Bets
Pass line bets mean betting that in a roll out a 7 or 11 will result. If this is the result of rolling you double your money but if the result is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 then a point is established and the shooting continues towards a point number which is seven. But when the first roll results in 2, 3, or 12 then the pass line bet looses and the don't pass line bet wins. Pass line bets alternate with don't pass line bets such that if pass line bets win, the don't pass line bets loose and vice versa.
Come Bets and Don't Come Bets
Come bets are like pass line bets except that they are made after the points are established. Rolling of a 7 or 11 after the come bets have been made results in a win for the come bets. And if the rolls result in a 2 or 3 then the come bets loose. If the roll results in other numbers other than 2, 3, 7 and 11 then all bets move to smaller numbered box placed on the table. If the next roll results in the smaller number rolling before a 7 is rolled then the come bets win and if 7 rolls before the smaller number then the come bets loose. Where the come bets loose, the don't come bets win and the come bets win, the don't come bets loose.
